Our life

So, this is to let everyone know what is going on with Deanne and I. It doesn't sound like mom is keeping everyone up to date with everything, I guess this is why we have the blog. I am not sure if any of you have wondered why we haven't had children yet, and it is for good reason. So I will give everyone our story. Last year Deanne was pregnant, with help from a fertility drug but we ended up loosing it and having to have a D&C in December. So long story short, we have fertility issues. We have been seeing a fertility specialist and Deanne has been diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis which is on a scale of 1 to 4. I on the other hand seem to be okay as my quote Alissa posted dictates. She had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove it from her ovary's and uterus. She has more on her bowel and bladder, but that can't be removed with out causing more problems. It doesn't fix the issue, but it should help things out. So right now Deanne has been put on medical menopause for the next 3 months to help freeze the endometriosis where it is. They took a needle and put a pellet in her tummy, neat. After that, she will be on birth control for a month to help the hormones get back. We will probably end up having to do artificial insemination and fertility injections. We may get 2 or more when we get pregnant. I think that pretty well sums up some of the stuff we have been up to in the last year. Other than that, it is work for Deanne and work and school for me. I just thought I would update, since most of this has been kept on the DL, and not sure who has been wondering about us. So there you go and hope everyone else is doing good.

Thanks for the update. I hope Deanne is feeling better and that things go well for you. By the way it's not Mom's job to keep us all up to date on what's going on :). Love you both!

It was fun to here from you, and good to know that you are still alive and kicking:)
I'm sorry that Deanne had to go through all that, and glad to here that things are looking up.
Just in case you get more than one baby, we have 3 families in our ward with a set of twins, and 2 of those families have 2 sets of twins. One family just had a set of boys, their twin girls are two. and they have one other one who is 4years old. They have their hands full.
We love you and hope all goes well!
