How about both????

I had a new post in response to Jimmy's previous one all written up yesterday and then the internet stopped working....so here I go for a second go around.

Victory and I have facebook (how could you have forgotten us? We were the originals!! Sheesh!!) :) While facebook has some fun features (online chatting (which I had to turn off because I spent too much time chatting with the nieces while I was at work) and the ablility to leave little notes or messages on friends and families pages, HOWEVER, I would suggest BOTH. I find that I am much more willing to share stories and pictures on the blog, maybe that is the girl in me wanting some form of scrapbooking and journaling that people will actually see.

ALSO, you should also be CAREFUL when using facebook ( I say this mostly to the kids using it, Mom would give you a whole lecture on why facebook isn't safe but I don't know that it is as dangerous as all that.) Be AWARE that potential employers somehow have somekind of access to your facebook pages (i think through your network groups) but they can check out your page and see what you've been up to. So be aware of what pictures you put up and the pictures that people tag you in. DON'T share any personal information (i.e phone, address, birth dates, emails , etc.) Set your PRIVACY settings to the maximum that you see fit. Just be careful. Be aware of who you are letting be your friends! But have FUN with it! (because it is a lot of fun and quite addicting.)

It's been a lot of fun to see the pictures of Darin, Paula, Jimmy and Kathy have posted of themselves on facebook of when they were wee lads and to read their notes of the 25 random things about them. I learned some surprisingly interesting and fun things about them. Facebook is definitely another tool that can be used to keep up with the family.

I hope you guys keep blogging because I love looking at our blog and seeing what's going on everyone's lives because the news doesn't always make it around.

only an inlaw? Those of you who who have joined us willingly should get two votes.
Facebook is fun, just be careful to only invite those people you actually know AND trust.

Thanks, Adelle took it for us over Thanksgiving. I like it a lot. I thought after only having wedding pictures of us, we probably ought to get one that actually looks like us now.
