So basketball started for our Young Women tonight, and I had to let every one know what Debbie did.
Debbie and basketball's don't mix (she gets that from me) But when the girls found out that our Laurels Adv. was going to coach the team (she has been the girls b.b. coach at Lehi High) every girl wanted to play, Debbie to.
So tonight Debbie goes in the game, they run up and down the Cort a few times and then Debbie gets the ball, there was no one to throw it off to so she looked up and threw it to the basket and as they say it was nothing but net. The hole team started yelling ran over to her and had a group hug, while the game was still going on. I was yelling so loud and jumping up and down and I still think Debbie has the smile on her face. It was great, we went for ice cream after. I think the final score was 24 to 9. we were 24.
I would put a photo in but Sean took the van to Elders, and that is where my camera was. sorry
WAY TO GO DEB, WE LOVE YOU.

AHhh, look at you, proud mother! That is AWESOME Debbie!! I loved YW basketball, it's exciting but without the pressure of school basketball....it all about having fun! I'm glad she liked it and showed them all who's boss!
Awesome job! I always loved playing YW basketball, I don't think they do that here. Sad, it was great for those of us that weren't talented enough to play on the school teams but still enjoyed playing. I bet you're a great sports mom Amy!
