Happy 2009!

I can hardly believe that it is already 2009, can it really be 9 years since the Y2K scare? Our Millenial party? Our family spent a quiet New Years Eve remembering the Best of 2008, making pizza, playing games and enjoying little fondue! We celebrated the new year at 10:00 and went to bed after a few noise makers and poppers outside. New Years Day brought Darin and Paula and family to our house, and Sean and Amy, just as I was finishing doing cookies for a wedding the next day, they helped bag and tie ribbons and haul them upstairs to get them out of the way.
We had a nice visit. The next day I delivered the cookies for the wedding luncheon, and went to pick up my friend Lisa and spent the day with her, while her husband and 2 boys went skiing.
Darin and Paula took Sam down to the "Y" and then came back to try and leave before yet another snow storm hit. They left, so we went to dinner with our friends to an empty Red Robin and watched the "U" win the Sugar Bowl. When we came home there was Darin and family watching a movie. They hadn't gotten very far because of the snow. Saturday, they left again, and I took Adrianna to her bus and spent the rest of the day with my friend Lisa. Busy fun week!
I love having the company, but I don't like the worry the weather causes. Any way love to you all and have a great 2009!
