Questions from a beginner
I'm new to Blogs. Do the names in grey mean that people are currently online. Also is there a place to have an ongoing conversation like a forum?

no, and no. It's basically an online journal. You can type what you want and comment on what people say. But you can't tell if anyone is online at the same time, and there is no place to chat, but that is kinda a good idea :)
