Gingerbread

Every year I watch Kristie make her wonderful Gingerbread Houses and think I want to know how to do that, but never take the time to learn, so yesterday I took the time. I didn't have the nerve to do a house so I started with this train, I have to say I don't think it turned out half bad. Its far from Kristie's master pieces but for a first timer, not to bad.

When the kid got home from school all they wanted to know is when can we eat it. I told them who knows when I will ever take the time to make another, so know one will be tuching it till after Christmas.

I've always wanted to make a gingerbread house as well, maybe I'll get brave and try to make one this year. Your train looks lovely.

There is nothing better than destroying the gingerbread. We used to love to break the gingerbread house that mom made. I think we used to like to eat it, but it was usually over a month old by then. I'm surprised we survived.

Your train looks great, I have all the stuff to make one, but haven't had the time or the gumption to make it yet. Maybe tomorrow.
