Our Little Ladybug
Lauren LoVeD trick or treating. She would knock on the door and then kind of hide behind Jeff or I, because she gets a little shy when she is excited. We obviously didn't practice Halloween etiquette well enough because when someone would let her pick her own candy she would take one and put it in her bucket, then try to grab a handful. It was really funny.
After the first couple of houses she realized that she had candy in her bucket she stopped and sat down on the sidewalk and tried to eat her candy. 
Once she understood that when she knocked on a door and she got candy, she would run from house to house squealing with delight. It was so much fun to see her sooo happy.
Here is our little Ladybug eating her treasures. It was the only piece of candy that she had on Halloween and it was only about a 1/4 of a dum-dum. However she wanted to carry around the stick all night when she finished it. There was much heartbreak when I took it from her.

Oh the joys of Halloween. You get over the guilt of eating your kids candy pretty quick. Although most of it you don't want anyway, dum dums, smarties, etc. We only want the chocolate bars and occasionally we'll throw back a box of nerds for old times sake.
love the lady bug. Sean and I rade the kids candy after they go to bed. You have to love having kids.
